Pi supports Toronto WERC Council Event

Please join The Beer Store in supporting Mental Health awareness in the workplace, and in celebrating the New Year with like-minded industry professionals at our upcoming Toronto WERCouncil Event!

The Beer Store offers customers 720 brands, provided by 185 brewers. It is one of the greenest retailers in the world collecting more than 1.6 billion beer containers (a 91 per cent return rate) and 318 million wine and spirit containers (a 78.5 per cent return rate) in 2014-2015. The Beer Store employs 7,000 hard-working Ontarians with well-paying full and part-time jobs.

Joining us for the evening will be Christina Fuda from Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences. Ontario Shores is a public hospital providing a range of specialized assessment and treatment services to those living with complex and serious mental illness. Exemplary patient care is delivered through safe and evidence-based approaches where successful outcomes are achieved using best clinical practices and the latest advances in research. Patients benefit from a recovery-oriented environment of care built on compassion, inspiration and hope. After the presentation, there will be a brief Q&A period where you can further inquire about both Ontario Shores, and The Beer Store's own Mental Health programs.

The event promises a chance to connect with industry professionals, and enjoy a selection of hot appetizers, snacks, and drinks... and of course, only the freshest draught beer!

24 hr Spin of Hope

Pi is hosting a 24 hr non stop Spin fundraiser for Cancer.  Join Pi at our spin studio and help us reach our goal of $2,500. The Spin of Hope starts Friday Dec. 9, 4pm, we have 5 bikes to fill - that's 120 hours of spinning for a great cause. 

All proceeds will go to the Canadian Cancer Society, which was formed in 1938. 

The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer. Read more: http://www.cancer.ca
