Inventory counts are a critical part of managing any warehouse. They’re also–one of the most dreaded times of the year.

In Visual, physical counts can take 1-3 days of tedious, manual, and error-prone work. That’s where RF Plus comes in.

Here’s how it works

Inventory Counts in RF Plus are designed to make the process faster, more accurate, and much less disruptive to operations.

1. Barcoded Counts: Using an RF Plus handheld device, any user can scan barcode(s) to quickly and accurately count inventory. This reduces errors associated with manual entry and accelerates the process.

Pro-tip: Need a few extra scanners during your count? Ask us about rental rates on scanning devices and temporary licenses.

2. Dashboard Reports: During an active count, open your Dashboard Report to monitor In-Progress KPIs in the RF Plus Control Center. Immediately catch discrepancies, track your team’s progress, and request recounts before closing the count.

3. Auto-Recounts: When enabled, this feature can immediately flag all *significant discrepancies resulting from your first count. Then use the Auto-Recount button to send recount requests on the applicable part locations.

4. Update Visual in Real-time: RF Plus works directly with Visual’s Inventory Count Module (within the Physical Count Window). Update Visual throughout the count and then review & approve details in either RF Plus or Visual.

5. Better Reports: Export detailed reports on inventory counts—identify count/recount discrepancies by part location, see discrepancies by its material cost ($), and more. Create your own reports using either SQL (SSRS), Visual Reports, or our built-in reports in the RF Plus Control Center.

6. Audit Trail: Save all count history details for future accounting audits. This is a safe and secure way to back-up inventory records.
